The original sessions were released by Verve and recorded February 21, 1966 at Town Hall in New York, produced by Creed Taylor + engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.
To work with talented technicians and engineers is as important as the musicians you have on the stage and so many times they´ve been unfairly forgotten. They are the eyes, the ears, the cameras that catch the moment, - the proper intention of the sound-, and keep it alive through the years. My deepest admiration and gratefulness to them.
