bill evans at town hall

i´m madly in love with the way this record sounds: clear and full of subtle intentions. Listening to it you´ll be able to feel the energy of the venue where was recorded and mentally see the musicians playing. The original sessions were released by Verve and recorded February 21, 1966 at Town Hall in New York, produced by Creed Taylor + engineered by Rudy Van Gelder.
To work with talented technicians and engineers is as important as the musicians you have on the stage and so many times they´ve been unfairly forgotten. They are the eyes, the ears, the cameras that catch the moment, - the proper intention of the sound-, and keep it alive through the years. My deepest admiration and gratefulness to them.
